TRANSFORMADORES CDM LTDA, registered by public deed on March 1, 1988, was founded with the effort and engineering expertise of Norte de Santander to serve the country. It began operations with the manufacturing, repair, reconstruction, and maintenance of distribution and medium-power transformers.
In October 1999, the company obtained its first quality assurance system certification in accordance with ISO 9001, issued by Bureau Veritas Quality International. In October 2005, TRANSFORMADORES CDM LTDA was first registered in the Health and Environmental Programs Evaluation Registry for Contractors, with the goal of jointly promoting safety, occupational health, and environmental protection with the sectors operating companies.
In February 2010, the company achieved certification in an Integrated Management System (IMS) meeting the requirements of the standards ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System), and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) through ICONTEC. In 2019, the company completed the transition from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001.
Additionally, in December 2022, SGS awarded a product conformity certificate for the manufacturing of distribution transformers. Currently, our Integrated Management System (IMS) is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (2015 versions) and ISO 45001 (2018 version).
